Madison, Wisconsin (Entry by Todd)
(Mar 10th, 2005) Well we made it to Madison. We are here for the annual Canoecopia Expo. It is the largest Paddlesports expo in the nation. We will have a booth where we will try to sell some tshirts and books to raise some money for our trip. We will also be courting the last few sponsors we need, as well as working in the booth of one of our sponsors (Cooke Custom Sewing). It was an uneventful drive, when we arrived in Madison we checked into our hotel (cheap, and you do get what you pay for), then went to the Alliant Center to set up our booth. After debating for what seemed like hours (we do like to obsess) we picked a spot and set up our booth. It looks great!! I will try to upload a picture tommorrow. We then had a nice discussion with the Mcguffins who are some of Canada's premier paddlers. They were very helpful and gave us some pointers about running a first class expedition. Thanks Gary and Joanie!! Then we grabbed a bite to eat at a mexican resturant where we stuffed ourselves with some fine food. After dinner we headed back to our hotel, checked our email and vegged out in front of the t.v. (ahh technology).

I am looking forward to tommorrow and sharing our story with lots of people.
